Cyber Security Analyst (Part-Time)

Adecco Creative is partnering with a global brand in NYC to recruit for a PART-TIME Contract Cybersecurity Analyst role. This position will be 20 hours per week, roughly 9am – 1pm EST daily and is ongoing contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and respond to security alerts from cloud and endpoint protection platforms (e.g., Wiz, Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike).
• Assist in the configuration and maintenance of cloud security tools.
• Perform basic threat analysis and triage of security incidents.
• Support vulnerability management efforts by tracking and reporting on endpoint and cloud vulnerabilities.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize security metrics, trends, and KPIs.
• Collaborate with IT and cross functional teams to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Document incident response activities and contribute to post-incident reviews.
• Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms and endpoint security principles.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools and EDR solutions.
• Experience or coursework in data visualization and reporting using Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Internship or project experience in cybersecurity or IT operations.
• Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., PowerShell, Python, KQL).
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solutions architect Associate, or equivalent are a plus.
