Our client is a PE fund that specialized in renewables and is currently seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join their team as an Associate in the Energy Transition team. Responsibilities

· Analyze and evaluate potential investment opportunities through building complex financial models and thorough due diligence

· Lead the preparation of investment opportunities for the consideration of the investment committee

· Lead sector analysis and drive proactive deal sourcing

· Contribute to value adding to portfolio companies

· Collaborate with the team on various projects and tasks related to portfolio companies

Requirements

· 3-5 year(s) of investing experience in technology companies

· Strong interest in understanding cutting edge complex technologies

· Strong financial modelling (high proficiency in MS Excel) skills

· Prior experience in hydrogen and other decarbonization technologies is preferred

· Strong attention to detail

· Team player with good communication skills and leadership potential

· Analytical, innovative, motivated and adaptable

· Proficient in English, Chinese speaking is mandatory.

· Candidate with less experience will be considered as Analyst
