Salary: £120,000-£150,000

We’re partnering with a multi-billion-dollar global leader in insights and analytics, operating across multiple countries, on a transformative AI programme. This is a rare opportunity to join a high-profile initiative in its build phase, where you'll be focused on building advanced machine learning models and productising for real-world, high-impact applications.

As Head of Data Science, you will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of our AI initiatives, driving innovation across synthetic data, LLM agents, digital twins, and agentic workflow modeling. This is a strategic, C-suite-facing role with significant budget oversight and the opportunity to shape AI capabilities that will generate substantial revenue in the coming years.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own the end-to-end ML strategy, architecture, and delivery of a synthetic data and AI platform deployed globally.
• Lead the design and implementation of production ML pipelines, MLOps workflows, and model lifecycle management
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a high-performing team of Data Scientist & ML engineers.
• Collaborate across functions and with external partners to deliver scalable, real-world AI solutions.
• Influence and engage with senior executives and global stakeholders, aligning AI strategy with business objectives.
• Make critical design and technology decisions, balancing innovation with operational excellence.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven leadership of large-scale ML or AI programmes from strategy to production.
• Hands-on expertise in Python, cloud ML platforms, and LLM-based solutions.
• Deep understanding of MLOps, model lifecycle management, and synthetic data applications.
• Exceptional ability to operate in high-stakes, high-visibility environments and influence executive stakeholders.
• Track record of building, scaling, and delivering strategic AI initiatives in complex organizations.
