A Network Administrator is required to support and maintain enterprise‑scale network and security infrastructure across regional Western Australia. The role focuses on ensuring stable operations through installation, monitoring, troubleshooting, configuration, documentation, and compliance activities within a complex health ICT environment. It is a Perth‑based contract with hybrid work (some work from home), some regional travel, and a 3–6-month contract with likely extensions.
Duties Required for the Role:
Administer and support network infrastructure to maintain stable and reliable operations across regional sites.
Install, test, and maintain network hardware, operating systems, and management software in line with established procedures.
Monitor network and security systems for performance, utilization, and capacity, taking corrective action when required.
Troubleshoot and resolve network hardware and software issues within a large enterprise ICT environment.
Configure and maintain network and security management platforms, including system administration and scripting tasks.
Prepare network performance reports, maintain technical documentation, and ensure compliance with relevant policies and standards.
Skills Required:
Strong experience with ICT systems and advanced troubleshooting capabilities in complex environments.
Proficiency in administering and configuring network and security management platforms at enterprise scale.
Ability to use scripting languages for automation, administration, and monitoring tool development.
Solid understanding of network topologies, protocols, hardware, and software.
Experience in planning, implementing, and maintaining large‑scale data communications and security infrastructure.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to collaborate effectively across technical and non‑technical groups.
