Why we need you

Our products are used by patients recovering from strokes, brain injuries, and neurological conditions — every bug matters. As our QA Engineer, you'll own quality assurance across myReha (mobile therapy app) and nyra insights (web platform), ensuring that clinical workflows, AI-driven therapy sessions, and patient-facing features work reliably at scale. As we expand into new markets and ship faster, we need someone who builds the testing infrastructure to match.

About the Company

At nyra health, we’re building software that makes a real difference. Our tools help clinics, therapists, and patients in their neurorehabilitation journey. Our products — myReha (therapy app) and nyra insights (web platform for patient management and analysis) — deliver evidence-based, AI-powered neurotherapy at scale.

If that resonates with you, we’d love to hear from you.

What you'll shape

  • Test strategy and infrastructure: Design and maintain automated and manual testing frameworks across mobile (iOS, Android) and web platforms
  • Release quality gates: Define and enforce quality criteria for every release, ensuring clinical-grade reliability
  • Regression and integration testing: Build and maintain regression suites that cover critical therapy flows, speech analysis pipelines, and clinician workflows
  • Bug triage and reporting: Own the bug lifecycle — from discovery through prioritization to resolution verification — in close collaboration with engineering
  • CI/CD integration: Embed automated tests into our deployment pipelines to catch issues before they reach patients
  • Cross-functional QA partnership: Work with Product, Engineering, and Clinical teams to understand requirements and translate them into comprehensive test coverage
  • Device and platform coverage: Ensure consistent quality across the wide range of devices and OS versions used by clinics and patients

What sets you up for success

  • QA experience: 3+ years in software quality assurance, ideally in mobile and web applications
  • Automation skills: Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Appium, Selenium, Detox, XCTest, Espresso)
  • Mobile testing expertise: Deep understanding of iOS and Android testing, including device fragmentation, OS-specific behaviors, and app store submission requirements
  • API testing: Experience testing RESTful APIs and backend services
  • CI/CD familiarity: Comfortable integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
  • Structured approach: Ability to write clear test plans, document edge cases, and communicate quality metrics
  • Bonus: Experience in healthcare, medtech, or regulated environments (ISO 13485, MDR)

Beyond your CV

  • Quality-obsessed: You take pride in catching what others miss and think in edge cases
  • Systematic thinker: You approach testing methodically but know when exploratory testing is the right call
  • Proactive communicator: You flag risks early and propose solutions, not just problems
  • Patient-minded: You understand that behind every bug report is a patient or therapist whose experience matters
  • Pragmatic: You balance thoroughness with speed, knowing when "good enough" is the right trade-off
