We are looking for a Junior Full Stack Developer to join a project for a European Union public institution.
The role involves contributing to modern, high-quality IT systems supporting large-scale digital platforms within a multicultural and international environment. The assignment may evolve over time depending on project and service needs.

- Development of front-end website architecture.
- Design of user interactions on web pages.
- Development of back-end website applications.
- Implement core business logic.
- Creation of servers and databases for functionality.
- Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
- Cross-platform optimisation.
- Design responsive applications.
- Design and develop APIs.
- Participating in the design and creation of scalable software.
- Taking lead on projects, as needed.
- Maintenance of code integrity and organisation.
- Writing clean, functional code on the front- and backend.
- Compile and analyse data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
- Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues.
- Meet both technical and consumer needs.
- Write technical documentation.
- Level of education corresponding to Level 6 of the European Qualification Framework (typically a Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years).
- Degree must be IT-related.
- Proficiency with back-end languages and frameworks such as Java, Spring Boot and Hibernate.
- Excellent knowledge of J2EE.
- Excellent knowledge of BPMN.
- Excellent knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with database technology such as Oracle and MongoDB.
- Experienced with standards/APIs: XSD and SOAP, JSON, JSON Schema.
- Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
- Excellent knowledge of JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as Angular and Bootstrap.
- Experienced with Docker, Python, Bash, Elasticsearch, GIT and JIRA.
- Good knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture.
- Autonomous.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to integrate into an international and multicultural environment.
- Experience working in teams and across multiple large projects.
- Excellent team player.
