Data Designer – Business Intelligence & Analytics

We are looking for a Data Designer to support the development and modernization of a business-critical data and reporting platform within an agile environment.

In this role, you will translate business needs into clear and structured data models, data warehouses, and reporting solutions. You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to design transformation flows, semantic layers, and reporting structures. You will also contribute to testing, documentation, and user acceptance processes.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into conceptual data models
• Design data warehouse and datamart structures
• Define data transformations and data lineage
• Support reporting solutions (e.g. dashboards and analytics)
• Create documentation and test scenarios
• Collaborate with engineers and business users
• Improve data quality and reduce recurring support issues

Profile:

• Strong knowledge of data warehousing principles (Kimball methodology)
• Experience in conceptual data modeling
• Good SQL knowledge
• Experience in Agile projects
• Fluent in English

Nice to have:

• Power BI or similar BI tools
• Azure or Microsoft data platforms
• UML knowledge
• Energy or industrial sector experience

Contract: long-term assignment (initial 12 months, extension expected)

Work mode: hybrid (remote possible)
