Available vacancy in R&D department at our Vilnius office: Software Engineer in Test (Python)

Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive automated tests for embedded software based on product requirements, specifications and requests from other teams.
• Maintain and develop new features for our Python-based test automation tools.
• Support and maintain written tests.
• Execute automated test, analyze results, and document any defects or issues discovered during testing.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and manual QA, to ensure clear understanding of requirements and test objectives.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Education in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with AI/ML products (OpenCV, PyTorch, etc..) is a huge plus.
• Design patterns and robust software engineering methodologies.
• Experience with any statically typed programming language (C++, Java, C#, etc..)
• Electronics schematics and PCB debugging experience. Hardware testing experience.
• Web services development with any Python framework.

Requirements:

• Python for scripting, testing, and automation.
• Quality oriented, pragmatic approach to software design and implementation.
• 1.5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on automated testing.
• CI/CD tools (Bitbucket, Jenkins).
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset with the ability to debug and optimize.
• Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and take initiative.
• Written and verbal English, Russian Level B1+.
