Salt is currently hiring an Android Developer for a client of ours in Amsterdam.
Role is paying 100 euros an hour and you require kvk/zzp. 9 month project.
Android Developer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable Android applications using Kotlin, Java, and the Android SDK. Delivers high-quality, maintainable code aligned with business requirements while ensuring strong test automation and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Android applications using modern architectures (MVVM/Clean Architecture) and Jetpack components
- Write clean, reusable, and well-tested code (Unit tests, UI tests)
- Integrate REST APIs and third-party SDKs
- Monitor app health, performance, and stability (crash reporting, analytics)
- Own features end-to-end from development to Play Store release
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical improvements
- Optimize performance, memory usage, and app responsiveness
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teams
- Participate in CI/CD processes and on-call rotation when required
