Job description
As an Engineer DDI DC Lan, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Data Center DDI Services for our client. You will delve into complex issues on a daily basis. You will translate the chosen strategy into concrete Solution Building Blocks based on the latest developments and work on both the software and hardware sides.

As an Engineer DDI DC Lan, you will work proactively and independently, performing your duties based on your knowledge and personal attitude. This ranges from proposing strategies for Lifecycle or innovation projects, translating the design into a realization, and setting up the associated rollout instructions. In addition, you will be the go-to person for third-line questions: when it comes to knowledge, you are ‘the person to go to’. You will devise tactical solutions for the customer and design them from start to finish. This includes issues relating to connections, migrations, security, automation for deployments based on Ansible, and determining the required performance (SLA and KPI standards for availability). In short, a varied job with a lot of independence!

You are familiar with several of the products, technologies, and areas of expertise listed below and know how to apply them regularly in your work. Certification is an advantage:

Responsible for
• Developing the DDI infrastructure from an HLD level to a Detailed Level Design,
• Setting up the functionality based on the requirements.
• Describing the functional and non-functional requirements for each technical component.
• Supporting the testers with information about test scripts and use cases.
• Building and configuring the requested functionality.
• Developing installation scripts and configuration scripts.
• Building, expanding, or modifying the current situation.
• Managing by resolving issues within Incident and Problem Management. The engineer assists in the impact analysis for change management.
• Documenting the configurations.
• Assisting with testing and troubleshooting (together with the supplier).
• Writing supporting documentation for the products and services.
Specific requirements and responsibilities:
• Minimum education at MBO level with experience at HBO level.
• Member of the Multidisciplinary Agile team.
• Willingness to participate in on-call duty.
• Possession of a Dutch passport.
• Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
