The Role:

We are seeking a Computer Vision & Machine Learning Engineer with at least 3 years of professional experience to design, develop, and deploy AI solutions that power our AR and industrial SaaS platform. You will work closely with our CTO, AI team, and software engineers to build end-to-end ML pipelines—from data processing and model development to deployment and monitoring in production.

In this role, you will combine computer vision, deep learning, and Generative AI to solve real-world problems from industrial clients, such as visual guidance, object recognition, workflow automation, and knowledge digitalization. You will integrate AI models with AR/mobile applications and cloud services (Azure/GCP), ensuring that solutions are scalable, reliable, and production-ready.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement computer vision and machine learning models for industrial use cases (object detection, classification, segmentation, tracking, 3D understanding). Develop GenAI solutions to extract and generate workflows from unstructured sources (PDFs, manuals, videos) to enable instant knowledge digitalization. Build and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines: data ingestion, annotation, training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring. Integrate AI models with AR/VR and mobile applications for real-time user guidance.

• Optimize models for edge devices and real-time performance
• Collaborate with product and software teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Contribute to MLOps practices: experiment tracking, CI/CD for ML, automated testing, and model lifecycle management
• Support production systems, monitoring accuracy, drift, and reliability
• Stay up to date with advances in CV, LLMs, and multimodal AI and apply them to customer problems

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional experience in Computer Vision / Machine Learning engineering
• Bachelor / Master in CV, ML, robotics, or similar field
• Strong experience with Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow, and ML frameworks
• Hands-on experience with: Object detection / segmentation (YOLO, Mask-RCNN, etc.), Image & video processing, Multimodal or Generative AI (LLMs, vision-language models)
• Experience deploying models on Google Cloud, or Azure
• Familiarity with MLOps tools (MLflow, Docker, CI/CD)
• Understanding of AR/VR pipelines is a strong plus
• Ability to work with real-world, noisy industrial data
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
