We are now looking for a Design Project Coordinator to support our Design Project Leaders and ensure flawless execution across entire vehicle design programs.
About the role
As a Design Project Coordinator, you will be at the heart of the design development process, supporting multiple global design teams and ensuring that projects run smoothly, efficiently and on time.
You will work closely with Design Project Leaders, model teams, digital designers, engineers and cross‑functional stakeholders to plan, coordinate and track all design actions and deliverables throughout the product development cycle.
This is a role for someone who thrives in a dynamic, creative studio environment and enjoys keeping complex projects moving forward.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Planning
- Support Design Project Leaders with daily project management tasks.
- Plan and coordinate design activities and deliverables according to process, timing, scope and budget.
- Maintain and update project resource files, forecasts and actuals, including hours and model costs.
Project Tracking & Reporting
- Follow up on project activities, consolidate input to gates/milestones, and provide clear status overviews.
- Manage and maintain the Level‑2 design time plan, aligned to the VPP and physical modelling schedule.
- Consolidate and present an overview of all deliveries within the Design Project Timing Portfolio.
Studio Operations & Support
- Prepare project reviews, meetings, agendas and minutes.
- Create and maintain project sites and documentation.
- Provide operational support to the Design PMO, including governance tasks when needed.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a coordination, support or project role, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams.
- SAP knowledge is a plus.
- Understanding of design studio workflows, principles and processes.
- Ability to translate business and design needs into clear project plans.
- Comfortable working in global, cross‑functional, multi‑disciplinary environments.
- Familiarity with standard tools and systems used in automotive development is an advantage.
