What You'll Do
- Develop and implement new features across iOS, Android, and Web platforms using JavaScript, improving our social and gameplay features.
- Collaborate in a cross-functional team, co-owning feature development from concept to analysis, release, and monitoring.
- Profile and optimize performance improvements to ensure a smooth, responsive player experience.
- Build and document flexible, reusable, and extendable solutions that contribute to the overall architecture.
- Partner creatively with designers, artists, and producers to turn concepts into compelling game features.
- Foster growth and learning within an agile engineering team, embracing diverse perspectives.
- Proactively seek and drive innovative methods in feature delivery.
Must-Have
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Professional experience in software development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript.
- Experience with the entire development life-cycle from gathering requirements to launching features.
- Diligent, motivated self-starter eager to contribute impactful game features.
- Excellent critical thinker and creative problem-solver with demonstrated analytical skills.
- Passionate about game development with strong player empathy.
- 1+ year PHP development experience.
- Mobile development experience (iOS and/or Android).
- Knowledge of Games as a Service (GaaS) concepts.
- Understanding of Client-server architecture.
- Experience with asset management and asynchronous coding.
