The Country Security Manager is accountable for developing and implementing an effective strategy to assess and mitigate risks, maintain continuity of operations, and safeguard personnel, assets, products and intellectual property of Sanofi Türkiye from any hostile infringements of the Group’s interest.
Although the Country Security Manager is given broad responsibility to carry out the functions of the position, the core elements of corporate standards exist for People Protection, Asset Protection, Information Protection and the Fight against Counterfeiting. These core elements must be met along the lines detailed below.
Objective
To provide a safe and secure work environment for personnel and operations around-the-clock in all Sanofi legal entities located in Türkiye.
Main Responsibilities
- Advise the Corporate Security and the MCO Head periodically of on-going risks and vulnerabilities and mitigating measures to safeguard Sanofi operations in the cluster countries.
- Identify, develop, implement and maintain security processes, practices and policies at sites to eliminate risks, respond to incidents, and limit exposure and liability in all areas of information, financial, physical, personal, and reputational risk.
- Keep the CC informed of appropriate corporate security policies and general procedures authorized by the Corporate Security.
- Ensure that implementation of security operations are in strict compliance with effective laws and applicable local regulations.
- Propose written guidelines to orient all personnel on basic security and safety measures and organize briefings and practice drills as appropriate.
- Coordinate the functions of the site-security managers’ (and team) to ensure outcomes meet security and safety objectives.
- Establish and maintain cooperative partnership networks with the main external interlocutors (law enforcement, customs, among others) to reduce risks to security and maintain continuity of operations.
- Cooperate, as necessary, in mutual operations with other Country Security Partners.
- Provide timely risk assessments, reports of incidents, research papers, briefs and alerts to the Corporate Security.
Skills, Experience & Knowledge requirements:
- Higher special professional education
- Previous law-enforcement experience and reliable links
- Documented work experience in the security field
- Experience in protection and security support, practices and trends in local and international settings
- Experience in protection and security support, physical security of the personnel, anti-counterfeiting activity and investigations, product protection, travel security, information protection, security of the company assets, crisis management, supply chain security, practices and trends in national and international settings
- Experience in the field of intellectual property protection and combating counterfeiting, conducting investigations related to counterfeiting of medicines
- Client orientation
- Ability to assimilate information and swiftly disseminate it
- Calm and reasoned approach, ability to prioritize and propose measures (preventive and corrective) adapted to his/her site(s)
- Ability to work as part of a professional network
