Mission description
Take on a key role as a senior security advisor in an environment where security is business-critical. You will help strengthen governance models, protect sensitive information systems, and provide strategic advice to management and professional communities. The role provides a unique opportunity to influence how security is managed at the organizational level, while collaborating closely with various disciplines to ensure comprehensive and risk-based protection of sensitive assets.
Work tasks
- Lead and further develop ISMS management and processes
- Conduct and follow up on risk assessments within information security
- Support audits, compliance and certification work
- Advice related to safety requirements and regulations
- Defining security requirements for sensitive systems
- Contribute to strategy and management work within security
- Participate in security assessments in procurement
- Facilitate workshops, reporting and stakeholder dialogue
Qualifications
Core competence
- Solid senior experience with practical work within ISMS management
- Strong experience in ISO 27001 environments (implementation, audit or certification work)
- Good expertise in information security risk management
- Experience with internal control, audit processes and continuous improvement
- Ability to assess and determine the security level of systems worthy of protection
- Experience in consulting within security regulations and compliance
- Good understanding of comprehensive security measures (technical, organizational, human and physical)
- Experience with security management, governance and strategic security work
- Good collaboration skills and ability to lead interdisciplinary initiatives
- Very good communication skills in Norwegian, both oral and written.
- Must be able to obtain high-level security clearance
- CV must be submitted in Norwegian
Advantageous expertise
- Certification as ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor
- Knowledge of national security regulations and protection frameworks
- Experience with security standards such as NIST or equivalent
- Background in quality management (e.g. ISO 9001)
- Experience with security in procurement and supplier monitoring
