Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Enterprise Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in enterprise data architecture, advanced SQL, data modeling, and data warehouse design. This role requires the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable data solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive high-quality data initiatives across the organization. The candidate will play a key role in enabling analytics, reporting, and data science initiatives while ensuring data quality, governance, and security standards.
Job Title: Sr. Enterprise Data Analyst
Location: Mexico or Canada (Nearshore)

Key Responsibilities
- Drive completion of complex data projects and deliverables following best practices in user story development, data analysis, architecture, modeling, design, coding, and testing
- Lead or assist in enterprise data architecture development including design principles, models, and mappings for transactional and analytical systems
- Translate business problems into scalable data and analytics solutions
- Develop logical and physical data models (3NF and dimensional modeling)
- Design and implement data transformation logic and integration processes
- Work closely with data engineers to build and optimize data pipelines
- Prototype data solutions to measure and monitor KPIs
- Partner with senior management, product owners, and stakeholders for scope planning, estimations, scheduling, and risk management
- Define and maintain enterprise data quality standards
- Enable self-service analytics capabilities for business users
- Support data science teams by delivering high-quality, model-ready datasets
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards
- Establish strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
- 8+ years of relevant work experience
- Advanced SQL expertise
- Strong experience in building and designing enterprise data warehouses
- Advanced knowledge of data modeling (3rd Normal Form and dimensional modeling)
- Experience in data integration design, ETL development, and performance tuning
- Strong understanding of big data platforms such as Databricks, Delta Lake, Apache Spark, Snowflake, or Redshift
- Experience with relational databases (Azure SQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
- Experience with ETL tools such as DBT, Databricks, Python
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with work estimation, design reviews, code reviews, and data testing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and manage complex projects
