Position: Frontend Developer (React)

Employment Type: Contract, 12 Months Extendable

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Frontend Developer (React) to join a high-impact digital transformation initiative. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in React-based application development, UI testing, and close collaboration with product and backend teams. You will contribute to building scalable, high-performance, and user-centric digital solutions that support investment and operational strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop modern, responsive web interfaces using React.js and related frameworks.
• Collaborate with UX designers and backend engineers to deliver cohesive product features.
• Conduct thorough unit and integration testing to ensure code quality.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and maintainability.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and code reviews.
• Work closely with internal IT and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with functional requirements.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Strong proficiency in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API).
• Hands-on experience in frontend testing tools (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous data handling.
• Understanding of modern frontend build pipelines and CI/CD tools.
• Experience working in an enterprise IT or financial services environment is a plus.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with TypeScript.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with Agile delivery in regulated environments.
• Knowledge of performance optimization and web accessibility best practices.
