Job Description
Fratelli Cosulich Singapore is seeking a professional Accountant to join our Finance Team.
ACTIVITIES
- Oversee and manage the accounts related to our Bunker Barge fleet.
- Handle depreciation and mortgage calculations to ensure accurate financial reporting for each barge.
- Work closely with the Shipping team to understand and address financial needs.
- Provide financial insights and support for operational decision-making.
- Collaborate with the purchase center to streamline financial processes.
- Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions related to procurement.
- Generate and analyze financial reports to provide insights to the management team.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Ensure adherence to accounting principles, regulations, and company policies.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Maintain effective communication with internal teams and in particular
- Act as a liaison between the finance department and other departments within the organization.
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the maritime or shipping industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
