Overview
We are partnering with a leading financial institution to hire a Full Stack Developer. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to front-office workflows, modern development frameworks, and direct interaction with sales and trading teams.
This opportunity is ideal for early-career developers who want to grow their technical skills while contributing to high-impact projects in a fast-paced financial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with trading desks to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Python (backend) and React (frontend).
- Troubleshoot code issues and implement practical, value-added solutions.
- Document applications and support testing processes.
- Assist in modernizing Excel-based tools into scalable, industrialized solutions.
- Contribute ideas for process improvements and application performance enhancements.
Required Skills & Experience
- Basic programming experience in Object-Oriented Programming (Python preferred).
- Familiarity or interest in React or other modern frontend frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn.
- Ability to work independently with guidance, and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Background in Finance is a plus
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, VBA, or event-driven architecture is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $100,000 – $130,000 (based on experience and seniority)
