Title: Risk Platform .NET Developer (Hybrid, London)

Location: London (3 days per week onsite)

Salary: £104,000 base

Employment Type: Permanent

Hybrid: 3 days in office / 2 days remote

The Opportunity:

We are working with a Tier-1 financial institution to hire a Risk Platform .NET Developer.

This is a critical engineering role, working directly with traders and risk stakeholders, acting as a technical right-hand to senior engineers on a low-latency, performance-critical platform.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Building and enhancing high-performance risk platform services using C# / .NET
• Designing efficient data structures and algorithms for real-time trading use cases
• Integrating with REST and WCF web services
• Writing and optimising MS SQL queries for low-latency systems
• Working closely with trading and risk teams in a front-office environment
• Taking ownership of delivery with a methodical, detail-driven approach

What We’re Looking For:

Essential:

• 4–8 years’ experience as a .NET / C# developer
• Strong knowledge of .NET, algorithms, and data structures
• Experience integrating with REST / WCF services
• Solid MS SQL experience with query optimisation
• Financial services experience (investment bank, trading, risk, market data)
• STEM degree (Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, etc.)
• Comfortable working in low-latency, performance-sensitive systems
• Willing to work 3 days per week onsite in London

Highly Valued:

• Exposure to trading or risk platforms
• Strong understanding of algorithmic complexity
• Clear, structured problem-solving mindset
