We are looking for a HR Operations and Project Specialist as part of our engaged and collaborative HR Switzerland team! You will have the opportunity to influence and engage with both project and ongoing HR scopes.

About The Role

In this exciting role you move HR-related operational activities forward and gain valuable experience in this field, while creating excellent client experience. In addition, you play a key role in planning, executing, and successfully delivering various HR projects for our Zurich based organization. You drive the projects end-to-end: from project plans, timelines, resources, reporting and analytics, to presentations and communications; creating valuable impact for HR and beyond and collaborating with teams within and outside of HR.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations

    • Deliver operational HR processes, including reference letters, managing tickets and reporting,
    • Act as co-owner of the family allowances topic
    • Perform controls and four-eye-checks
    • Support the quarterly Swiss Re Zurich onboarding event
    • Collaborate with the HR Administration team located in Bratislava
Project Management

    • Lead and contribute to HR projects and improve/develop HR processes to ensure efficient and simple delivery to our Swiss organization
    • Develop project plans, including timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation
    • Ensure project delivery is on schedule and as per defined scope
    • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management; identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may impact project success
    • Support project documentation, including presentations, meeting minutes, reports, and status updates
    • Facilitate effective communication between project stakeholders and team members
About The Team

You will be part of the HR Switzerland team which is responsible for operational and strategic HR topics. You will liaise closely with other HR teams and internal functions like IT and Legal, both employees and line managers, as well as federal offices like the compensation office or regional unemployment agencies. Members of our team have a broad variety of backgrounds, and our excellent technical expertise is complemented by a strong team spirit, always looking for delivering the best solution for our clients.

About You

You are a proactive and innovative teammate with attention to details and a continuous improvement approach, eager to learn and grow by working effectively in a team environment as well as independently. Your structured and well organised workstyle and your excellent planning and multitasking abilities allow you to focus on your clients and solutions.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related fiel
  • Certification in Project Management

Experience

  • Overall work experience of 2-4 years in project management or HR fields (internships included)
  • Basic understanding of HR principles and practices
  • Demonstrated interest in project management and HR topics.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Overall technical affinity and ability to manage data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English, French and Italian are an advantage.
