My client is expanding there professional services team and are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to support the deployment of enterprise-grade wired and wireless networks across a wide range of industries, including healthcare, pharmaceuticals, retail, education, supply chain, and large enterprise environments.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys solving complex networking challenges, working collaboratively with experienced engineers, and delivering high-quality solutions for clients at scale.
As a Network Engineer, you'll provide technical expertise and delivery support across enterprise networking engagements. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of network switches, wireless controllers, and access points
Supporting troubleshooting of LAN and WLAN connectivity issues
Participating in large-scale wireless deployments within enterprise environments under senior engineer guidance
Supporting network access control platforms (e.g. Cisco ISE or equivalent)
Producing and maintaining network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures
Participating in client change control processes and governance activities
To succeed in this role, you'll have:
5+ years' experience working with enterprise networking technologies (Cisco), wired and/or wireless
A solid understanding of core networking concepts, including:
IP addressing and IPAM
VLANs
STP
Routing protocols
Familiarity with Cisco platforms such as IOS, IOS-XE Catalyst, and/or AireOS
Ability to troubleshoot Layer 1-3 network issues
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clear documentation
Networking certifications such as CCNA, Aruba Campus Access, CWNA, or actively working toward one
Experience with platforms such as:
Cisco Prime
Cisco DNA Center
Cisco Meraki
Aruba Gateway or Aruba Central
Experience working in enterprise or large campus network environments
