Lead a major commercial build in Newcastle, owning design, delivery and stakeholder coordination

We are seeking Expressions of Interest from Construction Project Managers to lead the delivery of a significant corporate infrastructure project in Newcastle. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a major commercial build within a well-established organisation.
The Opportunity
Reporting into senior leadership, you will lead the construction stream and oversee the successful execution of the project from an internal client perspective. You will work across multiple business streams, ensuring design intent is implemented effectively while coordinating external builders, consultants and vendors.
This role requires a confident and capable construction professional with strong core project delivery skills- someone flexible, solutions-focused and commercially astute. While construction experience is important, our client is open to strong generalist project leaders who can navigate complexity, drive outcomes and build trusted internal relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading the construction stream across a large-scale corporate build
- Overseeing design implementation from an internal client perspective
- Managing external builders, contractors and consultants
- Driving programme, budget and risk oversight
- Working cross-functionally across business streams to ensure alignment
- Owning governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement at senior levels
- About YouStrong project leadership experience of 5-10 years
- Background in commercial construction or complex infrastructure projects
- Flexible, pragmatic and solutions-oriented
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across diverse internal groups
- Commercially aware with strong governance and delivery discipline
- Comfortable operating in a hybrid working environment
