Project Manager

About the role

A global renewable energy OEM is hiring a Project Manager (PV / Energy Storage – Utility & C&I) to lead projects from early-stage opportunity through to delivery, commissioning and a smooth transition into operations. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Sydney, with an immediate start.

What you’ll do

• Manage utility and C&I PV/ESS projects across both pre-sales and post-sales phases: account/client management, portfolio follow-up, and delivery execution.
• Lead project delivery activities including schedule management, commissioning coordination, stakeholder management and receivables closure.
• Own contract administration: support commercial/legal reviews for EPC and O&M contracts, supply agreements, warranties and schedules.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders (project, delivery and functional teams) and external stakeholders (clients, NSPs, consultants, EPCs and authorities).
• Lead negotiations with clients alongside internal and external resources.
• Drive project governance through regular meetings, reporting and risk management.
• Contribute to marketing enablement (case studies, project publishing, events/webinars) and help build stronger PMO capability.

What we’re looking for

• Full working rights in Australia.
• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s advantageous).
• 2+ years in renewables (PV and/or energy storage preferred) plus strong business-facing experience.
• Confidence working across multicultural teams and high-stakes stakeholders.
• Strong contract, commercial and negotiation capability with disciplined project reporting.
