Senior Frontend Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team in Tallinn. We’re responsible for supporting couriers on their journey with Bolt on all our markets, from registration through to when they decide to part ways.

About The Role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, developing, and deploying Bolt's growing frontend systems. That will mostly happen via coding in React and TypeScript.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Designing and building Bolt's growing frontend systems (B2B/B2C web portals, public web applications, and React Native mobile applications).
• Coding mostly in TypeScript, React (and React-Native).
• Active collaboration with product managers and designers.
• Paying attention to detail, proactively fixing upcoming bugs, and solving technical challenges.
• Contributing ideas to our product development roadmap.
• Giving a hand to your colleagues, participating in code reviews, and participating in architecture discussions.
• Leading frontend engineering initiatives.
• Knowledge of the backend development is a good bonus, but not required.
  
  
  

About you:

• You have experience in Typescript, React, Node.js, and modern web technologies.
• You have experience with API design and development.
• You have experience working in a product team.
• You have worked on high-quality user interfaces, with a primary focus on delivering a solid user experience.
• You have good English and communication skills.
• You have 4+ years of experience in software development.
