Senior Project Manager


Location: Dublin


Contract: 6-Month Daily Rate Contract


Job Description:

Our client, a professional Fintech services organisation, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to act as the primary point of contact for customers during complex system implementations. This role will lead structured delivery programmes while ensuring high levels of client satisfaction, quality assurance, and commercial oversight.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery from initiation through to implementation and post-go-live support.
  • Act as the main liaison between the client and internal delivery teams, ensuring alignment on scope, timelines and expectations.
  • Develop detailed project plans with clearly defined milestones and deliverables.
  • Oversee quality assurance across all major project outputs prior to client sign-off.
  • Manage project financials including resource forecasting, budget tracking and payment scheduling.
  • Identify, manage and mitigate risks while maintaining full visibility of project status.
  • Facilitate customer meetings, workshops, demonstrations and executive presentations.
  • Handle client communications including issue resolution and expectation management.
  • Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams including business and technical specialists.
  • Manage project change control processes effectively.
  • Support commercial discussions including pricing and identifying opportunities for additional services.


Experience Required:

  • Minimum 8+ years’ experience in project management within a professional services or technology delivery environment.
  • Proven track record delivering complex system implementations to external customers.
  • Strong experience managing cross-functional technical teams.
  • Experience operating within structured project management methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders across varying seniority levels.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project profitability.
  • Experience with structured planning tools such as MS Project or equivalent.
  • Ability to manage risk, conflict resolution and customer escalations effectively.


Desirable Skills:

  • Experience within financial services environments.
  • Exposure to insurance-related systems or regulated industries.
  • Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent).
  • Experience contributing to account growth or commercial negotiations.
  • Experience delivering projects involving system integrations or enterprise platforms.


Educational Requirements:

  • Third-level degree in Business, Information Technology or a related discipline.
  • Professional Project Management certification advantageous.
