Job role: Senior DevOps Engineer – DevSecOps for Azure cloud and Azure DevOps

Languages: English (C1) MANDATORY.

Location: Luxembourg (Near site)

Rate: 320-345€/day

MANDATORY:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related domains.

Description

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage containerized infrastructure in Azure using IaC principles.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, ensuring automated build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Oversee the configuration and lifecycle of Azure services, including databases, networking, monitoring, and storage.
  • Ensure security best practices are implemented across cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and development workflows.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediations, applying security hardening across infrastructure and application delivery processes.
  • Integrate security scanning tools (SAST, DAST, SCA) into CI/CD workflows.
  • Collaborate with development, architecture, and security teams to define cloud-native best practices.
  • Monitor system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency across production and non-production environments.
  • Provide troubleshooting and support for cloud infrastructure, containers, networking, and pipeline failures.
  • Document architectures, configurations, and operational procedures.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong understanding of Azure cloud services, including compute, networking, databases, storage, identity, and monitoring.
  • Solid knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts, tooling, and automated provisioning methodologies.
  • Deep expertise with containerization technologies, specifically Docker.
  • Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and administration.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Strong scripting capabilities in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Knowledge of connectivity protocols and security, including SSH, RDP, TCP, firewall rules, and network segmentation.
  • Understanding of secure cloud architectures, zero-trust principles, and compliance frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with security scanning and hardening tools, including SAST, DAST, and SCA solutions.
  • Knowledge of encryption, identity and access management, secret management, and vulnerability management.

Specific Expertise

  • Azure Cloud (strong plus)
  • Docker and container orchestration (ACA – Azure Container Apps, AKS – Azure Kubernetes Service as strong pluses)
  • Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, Git, repos, release management)
  • Security scanning tools: SAST, DAST, SCA
  • Scripting languages: PowerShell, Bash, or Python
  • Connectivity & networking: SSH, RDP, TCP/IP, firewall rules
  • Linux OS
  • Terraform for IaC provisioning
