As an AWS Cloud Engineer (Senior), you take the lead in building, managing, and evolving cloud hosting environments specifically tailored for SaaS applications. Situated in our dynamic operations hub in Delft, you will integrate with a dedicated team of cloud experts who prioritize automation and innovation. Working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure, your role is pivotal in ensuring that our infrastructure is not only operational but optimized for reliability, security, and performance. This role encourages collaboration with application developers and customer success teams to ensure seamless functionality across departments.

Requirements
In the position of AWS Cloud Engineer (Senior) based in Delft, you bring valuable expertise that powers our SaaS-based cloud solutions. Your solid understanding of AWS and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), along with proficiency in essential tools, underscores your ability to thrive in complex environments. Balancing hands-on technical skills with strategic problem-solving, you ensure robust and scalable cloud solutions that meet business demands. This role is well-suited for those with a deep commitment to continuous learning and innovation in the cloud domain.
- You have at least 5 years of experience working with complex AWS environments.
- You have hands-on knowledge of Windows OS, SQL, Terraform, and PowerShell.
- You are proficient in working with CI/CD pipelines and YAML.
- You have experience with, or are willing to learn, Kubernetes, Docker, and Bash.
- You focus on automation and integrations to improve the efficiency of systems and processes.
Compensation & Benefits
As a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer in Delft, you will join a high-impact cloud team working on complex and business-critical environments. In return, you can expect a competitive and transparent package that reflects your experience and contribution:
- A gross annual salary between €75,000 and €85,000, depending on experience, including a 13th month and 8% holiday allowance.
- A one-year or seven-month contract, with the intention to move to a permanent contract.
- 27 vacation days, plus additional loyalty days.
- 3 “Giving Back” days to support community initiatives.
- Flexible working options: work from home or from one of our modern office locations.
