We are looking for Legal Counsel Expert who will be on our team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Law required, LL.M would be an asset,
• 2-5 years of legal experience in a top tier law firm or a corporate environment
• Prior experience in regulatory matters, especially in the areas of e-commerce, consumer and data privacy law is preferred.
• Self-starter, highly analytical, investigative, detail-oriented, able to multitask and capable of maintaining a holistic perspective,
• Strong communication skills and good interpersonal relations, including in interactions with senior members of the organization, in order to develop and manage key internal business relationships and communicate clearly and accurately,
• Project management and leadership skills, have a “can do” attitude with the ability and eagerness to go above and beyond the scope,
• Excellent written and spoken English,

Responsibilities:

• Managing and coordinating legal processes of a data-oriented company with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts that fall within the scope of information technology, marketing, 3rd party collaborations and human resources agreements,
• Assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of personal data protection processes, with a particular focus on ensuring compliance with personal data protection laws and regulations regarding transfer of personal data abroad, as well as monitoring and following the latest decisions of the Personal Data Protection Authority,
• Bringing in quality legal guidance to proactively address possible legal complications and support the business units in all aspects of their works. Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including IT, HR, Marketing, Finance and Operations, to provide guidance on compliance matters,
• Providing risk assessments and recommendations on complex corporate issues,
• Anticipating and mitigating potential legal risks,
• Managing and monitoring all assigned processes and projects on an end-to-end basis,
• Coordination with Migros Legal Team in all legal matters.
