Role Overview

We are looking for a strategic Web3 Capital Allocator to join our remote team in Canada. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about decentralized finance (DeFi), blockchain technology, and Web3 investment strategies. As a Capital Allocator, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and managing our digital asset portfolio, identifying high-growth Web3 projects, and allocating capital across various blockchain-based ecosystems. What You Will Do

- Research and evaluate high-potential Web3 projects, DeFi protocols, and emerging blockchain technologies.

- Allocate capital across a diversified portfolio of digital assets, including cryptocurrencies, NFTs, and tokenized assets.

- Analyze market trends, on-chain data, and financial metrics to drive informed investment decisions.

- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to assess the performance of investments and adjust strategies as needed.

- Develop and maintain investment models, track portfolio performance, and manage risk within the Web3 ecosystem.

- Stay informed on the latest industry trends, regulatory developments, and technological advancements within Web3.

- Provide regular updates and insights to senior management and stakeholders on portfolio performance and market conditions.

What We Are Looking For

- Proven experience in capital allocation, investment management, or related roles in the Web3 or cryptocurrency space.

- Strong knowledge of decentralized finance (DeFi), blockchain technology, and the Web3 ecosystem.

- Proficiency in on-chain analytics tools (e.g., Glassnode, Nansen, Dune Analytics) to analyze market data and trends.

- Ability to create and manage financial models, assess risk/reward profiles, and make data-driven decisions.

- Strong understanding of digital assets, including cryptocurrencies, NFTs, and tokenomics.

- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex investment strategies to non-technical stakeholders.

- Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a remote, fast-paced work environment.

- A degree in finance, economics, or a related field is preferred, but practical experience in the Web3 space is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

- Base Salary: CAD 90,000 - 120,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
