The Opportunity

A leading decentralized perpetual futures protocol — backed by top crypto funds with $Millinons+ raised and $LARGE+ in cumulative trading volume — is hiring its Head of Product to lead the next chapter of growth.

This is a zero-to-one role. The protocol is entering its most ambitious phase: designing a next-generation trading protocol and launching its own chain. You'll be the founding product leader, responsible for defining what gets built, how it works, and who it serves — then building the team to execute.

What You'll Own as Head of Product

• Product Strategy & Roadmap Define the vision across perpetual futures, AMM design, liquidity mechanisms, permissionless market creation, and chain architecture.
• Full Product Lifecycle Lead from ideation through launch and iteration — scoping, prioritization, sprint planning, and post-launch optimization.
• Technical Collaboration Work hands-on with smart contract and backend engineers on trading logic, risk engines, funding rate mechanisms, oracle integrations, and chain-level infrastructure.
• Data & Metrics Build a data-driven product culture with clear KPIs across liquidity depth, trading volume, user retention, and activation.
• User & Market Insight Drive user research, competitive analysis, and community feedback loops to ensure strong product-market fit.
• Go-to-Market & Adoption Partner with BD, marketing, and ecosystem teams to launch new markets and scale the protocol's reach.
• Team Building Hire and mentor a product team from scratch, establishing high execution velocity and cross-functional alignment.

What We're Looking For as Head of Product

• 6+ years in product management, with at least 3 years in DeFi, crypto trading platforms, or derivatives
• Strong candidates from quantitative trading or protocol engineering backgrounds who've moved into product leadership are also encouraged to apply
• Deep understanding of DEX architecture, AMM and onchain CLOB models, perpetual futures, and derivatives market structure
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced, remote-first environments
• Strong analytical thinking with experience building data-driven product frameworks
• Solid grasp of blockchain fundamentals, smart contracts, oracles, and cross-chain ecosystems
• Excellent communication able to translate complex protocol-level concepts into clear product requirements
• Track record of launching and scaling high-impact trading or financial products

Bonus Points

• Experience working directly with smart contract engineers on protocol-level design
• Background in quantitative trading, market microstructure, or financial engineering
• Prior experience at a high-growth DeFi protocol or early-stage startup
• Contributions to open-source projects, governance participation, or active DeFi community involvement
• Understanding of token economics and incentive design
• Experience with appchain or L2 architecture decisions

Commitment: Full-time Location: Fully remote (global) must be able to overlap 8 hours daily with SGT (Singapore Time) Compensation: Decent Base salary up to + team token allocation + performance-based bonus
