We are seeking a highly capable and resilient Project Manager to join our growing operations team in Swan Hill.

This is a challenging and high-responsibility role that requires strong leadership, accountability, and the ability to deliver under pressure. You will manage furniture and fit-out projects from initial order through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position carries significant operational responsibility, including coordination of staff, contractors, and cross-departmental teams. It requires someone who takes ownership and is committed to seeing projects through to completion, even when challenges arise.

Flexibility is essential. Some projects may require occasional overnight stays and travel depending on site requirements. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy solving problems, and take pride in delivering results, this is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact.

Requirements

  • Experience in project management (furniture, fit-out, construction, logistics or similar environment preferred)
  • Experience managing staff or subcontractors
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety
  • Competent in Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to travel and undertake occasional overnight stays
  • Manage multiple furniture and fit-out projects simultaneously
  • Plan, coordinate and oversee labour, materials and timelines
  • Lead and manage installation teams and subcontractors
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards
  • Raise and manage project-related purchase orders
  • Work closely with warehouse, purchasing and operational teams
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements
  • Resolve issues proactively and maintain strong communication throughout
