Network Engineer (LAN/WAN β Aruba Wireless)
π Munich (2x Per Week) | π Global Environment | π©πͺ German Required (B2+)
We are looking for a hands-on Network Engineer to support and evolve our global campus and wireless infrastructure. This is a field-focused, on-site role in Munich supporting real estate transformations, campus refreshes, and global standardization initiatives.
This is not a remote architecture-only position β we need someone who installs, stages, configures, deploys, and troubleshoots networks on-site.
π§ Core Responsibilities
- Day-to-day engineering of LAN/WAN and enterprise wireless environments
- Design and deploy high-availability, resilient campus networks
- Lead wireless-first deployments (Wi-Fi 6/7 ready)
- Perform site surveys, heat mapping & RF optimization (Ekahau preferred)
- On-site troubleshooting (AP β Switch β Interference β Client β Voice)
- Support office moves, renewals, and building transformations
- Cisco β Aruba campus migrations
- Vendor lifecycle alignment & hardware standardization
- Support global teams across Europe, APAC & Americas
π Technical Requirements
Strong Aruba Wireless expertise (critical):
- Aruba controllers (Mobility Conductor)
- Aruba AP deployment & standardization
- High-density enterprise Wi-Fi design
- Deep 802.11 knowledge (RF propagation, spatial multiplexing, interference analysis)
- Experience supporting voice over wireless (e.g., Microsoft Teams)
Campus Networking:
- Switch staging & deployment
- M-Gig awareness for Wi-Fi 6/7 uplinks
- Redundancy & A/B design concepts
- Strong routing fundamentals & tiered design
- SD-WAN experience (VeloCloud preferred)

- Ability to drive technical bridge calls
- Strong documentation & knowledge transfer skills
- German language skills (minimum B2 β required for real estate & facility coordination)
- Comfortable collaborating with vendors & managed service providers
