In this role, you will be crucial in developing and maintaining the execution engine that powers the automation platform. You will work on scaling the system to manage millions of daily processes while enhancing performance and reliability. Accountabilities
- Develop and maintain the execution engine for handling millions of daily runs
- Improve system performance, reduce latency, and strengthen failure handling
- Design and implement execution primitives that facilitate reliable automation
- Collaborate on core system design with infrastructure, product, and platform teams
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 in a senior role
- Strong backend experience in Python, Django, TypeScript, or Node.js
- Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with event-driven systems
- Proven leadership in complex technical projects, making design decisions, and guiding implementation
- Ability to coach and support teammates while fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Confidence in navigating ambiguity and aligning stakeholders toward meaningful outcomes
- Willingness to learn and utilize AI tools for improving efficiency
