Software Engineer Location: Galway (Hybrid) Salary: €60 - 80K DOE

Your Responsibilities

  • Build new features and enhancements across our client's innovative product suite in collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Insights teams.
  • Contribute to an agile development process, promoting communication, iteration, and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in code reviews and knowledge‑sharing sessions to enhance team capability.
  • Work across the stack using widely used cloud and development technologies.
  • Support the delivery of scalable, high‑quality software solutions.

About You

  • 2-5 years' software engineering experience with a degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Skilled in Python, Java, or Kotlin with exposure to frameworks like Spring Boot or Flask.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and agile development methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of engineering best practices, clean code principles, and test‑driven development.
  • Bonus: experience with relational databases, CI/CD, Linux/Unix, geospatial data, or public transit datasets.
