Responsibility:
- Ownership of EU product readiness and compliance overview per product and per market- Coordination and tracking of ZEREZ, WEEE/EAR, grid compliance, certifications, and related regulatory requirements- Coordination, review, and finalization of EU market-facing documentation (e.g. user manuals, cybersecurity documentation, foundation guidelines, etc.)- Structured consolidation of European market and regulatory requirements into actionable input for HQ Product Management and R&D- Support on EMS software selection for the European market, including technical discussions with EMS vendors, evaluation of solution fit, and collection of commercial offers to support Sales Managers during customer and project discussions- Attendance of relevant fairs and conferences to support local Sales Managers by promoting Sermatec products and answering high-level technical and product-related questions- Preparation and delivery of structured product training for Sales Managers to ensure consistent product understanding, correct positioning, and alignment with compliance and technical capabilities
Qualification:
*Education
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Power Systems, or a comparable technical field, A Master’s degree is preferred
*Professional Experience
- Several years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or Product Engineering, ideally in the energy, BESS, inverter, or power electronics industry
- Proven experience working at the interface between R&D, product management, and market requirements
- Experience with European regulatory and compliance topics (e.g. CE conformity, grid codes, certifications, WEEE/EAR, or comparable frameworks)
- Experience in international organizations and collaboration with HQ or global R&D teams
- Experience supporting sales enablement activities (product training, fairs, customer-facing technical discussions) is an advantage, but not a pure sales role
*Technical Competence
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, preferably: battery energy storage systems (BESS), power conversion systems (PCS), grid connection requirements
- Ability to understand and discuss: grid compliance requirements, system architecture and interfaces, EMS software concepts and vendor solutions,
- Capability to review and structure: technical documentation, compliance and certification documents, user manuals and guidelines
*Product & Market Skills
- Structured approach to translating market and regulatory requirements into product input
- Ability to prioritize requirements based on market impact, compliance risk, and scalability
- Experience collecting and consolidating feedback from: sales, customers, grid operators, certification bodies
*Strong documentation and conceptual skills
*Personal & Communication Skills
*Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
*Confident interaction with:
- R&D and Product Management
- Sales Managers
- External partners and authorities
- Ability to work independently with high ownership and accountability
