Microsoft System Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Microsoft System Engineer for a key client based in Luxembourg.

Main tasks

• Participation in projects / mini-project management
• Working within a multidisciplinary team (Windows, VMware, third-party applications, security, advanced troubleshooting, etc.)
• System improvement / reliability / automation
• Participation in Level 3 ticket handling
• Providing knowledge transfer to Level 2 teams

Requirements

Minimum experience

• Minimum 8+ years of professional experience in an IT environment

Knowledge and skills

• Experience in critical environments (financial sector, high SLAs, strict service quality requirements)
• Respect of administrative procedures and existing organization

Specific requirements

• Proven expertise in Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022, 2025)
• Advanced PowerShell skills (development and automation)
• Strong knowledge of security and cybersecurity practices in Microsoft environments
• Technical project management/coordination
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft technologies: Windows Failover Cluster, Active Directory, ADFS, ADCS

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL SKILLS (ASSET)

• VMware and Omnissa Horizon
• Networking (DNS, Web Proxy, Firewall, Load Balancing, etc.)
• Banking applications
• MS Project

• French FLUENT
• English MANDATORY
