We are looking for a Senior Microsoft System Engineer for a key client based in Luxembourg.
Main tasks
- Participation in projects / mini-project management
- Working within a multidisciplinary team (Windows, VMware, third-party applications, security, advanced troubleshooting, etc.)
- System improvement / reliability / automation
- Participation in Level 3 ticket handling
- Providing knowledge transfer to Level 2 teams
Requirements
Minimum experience
- Minimum 8+ years of professional experience in an IT environment
Knowledge and skills
- Experience in critical environments (financial sector, high SLAs, strict service quality requirements)
- Respect of administrative procedures and existing organization
Specific requirements
- Proven expertise in Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022, 2025)
- Advanced PowerShell skills (development and automation)
- Strong knowledge of security and cybersecurity practices in Microsoft environments
- Technical project management/coordination
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft technologies: Windows Failover Cluster, Active Directory, ADFS, ADCS
ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL SKILLS (ASSET)
- VMware and Omnissa Horizon
- Networking (DNS, Web Proxy, Firewall, Load Balancing, etc.)
- Banking applications
- MS Project
Language
- French FLUENT
- English MANDATORY
