Main goal
The ICT Data Privacy Specialist will support UEFA's data privacy team before and during UEFA EURO 2028. The successful candidate will carry out data privacy assessments of ICT solution and services, including AI tools, record and update assessment results in the organisation’s privacy management solution and ensure that best practices are implemented.
Key Responsibilities
Planning stage
- Supporting data privacy assessments of ICT solutions and services, including AI tools, used in relation to UEFA EURO 2028
- Creating and updating a repository of processing activities and sub-processors related to UEFA EURO 2028
- Providing guidelines on specific data privacy regulations applicable in the UK
- Supporting outreach activities by creating information materials and content for the internal data privacy portal
- Coordinating data subject rights requests related to UEFA EURO 2028
- Monitoring data privacy compliance
- Assisting in the event of data breaches or incidents and following up with a remediation plan
- Providing recommendations on how to improve event data privacy
Requirements
Experience:
- From 3 to 5 years' experience in data protection compliance or a related field, in particular in data mapping and the recording of processing activities
- From 3 to 5 years' experience in an IT role or organisation
- From 3 to 5 years' experience working with data privacy and consent management tools (e.g. ConsentManager, EQS Data Privacy, OneTrust)
- Bachelor's in computer science/information technology or related studies
- Professional certifications in data privacy would be a plus (CIPT and/or CIPM)
- English / Proficient
- Relocation to Switzerland/France is expected
- Good knowledge of data privacy legislation, including GDPR and the UK GDPR
- Good understanding of technical operations and measures relating to data protection and information security
- MS Office / Advanced
- Planning and organising
