The Role

We are looking for a hands-on UI/UX Engineer to own experience design and front-end execution from day one.

This is not a visual-only role or a handoff-to-engineering role or about polishing screens after decisions are made.

This role exists to design and build interfaces where clarity, speed, and trust matter, across a high-frequency consumer platform where small experience decisions compound every single day.

You will work closely with the Founder, CPO, and Engineering team on product flows, interaction models, and experience systems that scale across multiple verticals.

This role carries real ownership.

The experiences you design will directly influence user trust, engagement, and platform adoption.

There is no buffer, no downstream team to “fix UX later.”

If the experience is confusing, the product is broken.

You Will Own

• Designing and building intuitive, high-performance user interfaces for web and mobile
• Translating complex intelligence (recommendations, patterns, insights) into simple, usable experiences
• Shaping product journeys from zero → one in close collaboration with product and engineering
• Owning UX decisions end-to-end: research, wireframes, prototypes, and implementation
• Building and evolving design systems and reusable components
• Defining interaction patterns that scale across features and verticals
• Ensuring experiences remain consistent, fast, accessible, and reliable as the platform grows
• Acting as the voice of experience quality when tradeoffs are being made

This role blends design thinking, front-end engineering, and product judgment, with a strong bias toward shipping real experiences, not decks.

You Have

• Strong fundamentals in UI/UX design and front-end engineering
• Experience building and maintaining modern design systems and component-driven interfaces
• A solid grasp of UX principles, interaction design, and usability heuristics
• Hands-on experience with modern front-end frameworks (React or equivalent)
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and early-stage environments
• Taste, judgment, and the ability to say “this doesn’t feel right” and fix it
• A bias toward shipping, learning, and iterating
• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, front-end engineering, or hybrid roles

You care about the small things. Spacing, states, transitions, timing.

You notice when something is off, and you don’t ignore it.

Compensation

In this phase:

• This role is equity-only until our pre-seed round closes.
• Once funding is in, this converts into a competitive salary and benefits, with meaningful equity remaining.
• If you need a guaranteed salary from day one, this will not be the right fit.

This role is designed for builders who want ownership over outcomes, not just compensation certainty.
