What You'll Build
In this role, you'll create intuitive, user-centered design solutions that directly impact how users experience our products across web, mobile, and cloud-based platforms.
You'll Be Responsible For Delivering
- User flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that solve real user problems and align with business goals
- Design work for features and user stories within your Scrum team's sprint commitments
- Components and documentation that strengthen our design system and ensure consistency across products
- Product usability and accessibility, making our applications more intuitive and inclusive for users globally
- Feature development within your Scrum team, translating user needs into actionable design solutions
- The evolution of our design systems and patterns, contributing to scalable, cohesive user experiences
What You Bring
Essential experience and skills:
- 1-2 years of professional UX/UI design experience with a portfolio that demonstrates your user-centered design process and outcomes
- Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar) and collaborative design workflows
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, including information architecture, interaction patterns, and accessibility fundamentals (WCAG basics)
- Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional team environments, ideally with exposure to agile/Scrum methodology
- Basic user research capabilities including conducting interviews, surveys, and usability tests, and translating findings into design decisions
- User empathy and curiosity — you genuinely care about understanding user needs and advocating for them
- Adaptability and comfort with iteration — you thrive in agile environments with changing priorities and embrace feedback as an opportunity to improve
- Clear communication skills — you can articulate your design rationale to developers, product owners, and stakeholders, and participate constructively in design critiques
- Learning agility — you proactively seek to develop your skills and stay current with UX best practices
- Accountability and ownership — you take responsibility for design quality and meeting your sprint commitments
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or related field
- Familiarity with to AI best practices:
- Use of AI tools for increasing productivity - for rapid prototyping, component creation, persona development, & basic research
- have done work in agentic, generative and assistants
- Basic familiarity with HTML/CSS and how designs translate to code
- Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first approaches
