High impact AI engineering role inside a fast moving, well funded venture backed startup building an AI product in the financial modelling space across Australia and NZ.

The product is live. The ambition is global.

You will work directly with the founders and technical team to push the product to the next level.

Responsibilities:

Own and build AI driven product capability end to end.

Design and ship LLM powered features from architecture through to production.

Work across retrieval, reasoning, evaluation, optimisation and deployment.

Build systems that handle real world ambiguity, not demo data.

Partner closely with founders on technical and product direction.

Ship fast. Iterate constantly.

Candidates shoudl have:

Deep, practical understanding of LLMs in production.

Senior ML or LLM Engineer in a product business.

Experience with RAG, agents, evaluation frameworks, inference optimisation.

Strong backend and systems fundamentals.

Proven experience taking AI features from concept to live environment.

Startup experience as a founder or early stage engineer is essential.

Clear tenure history.
