About the Role

We are looking for an innovative FinTech Engineer to design and develop secure, scalable financial technology solutions. This role involves building payment systems, digital banking platforms, trading systems, or blockchain-based applications while ensuring regulatory compliance and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop financial applications and payment systems
• Build and integrate APIs with banks and third-party providers
• Ensure system security, encryption, and data protection standards
• Implement scalable cloud-based architectures
• Work closely with Product, Compliance, and Risk teams
• Optimise system performance and transaction processing speed
• Support deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Ensure compliance with MAS regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 3–6 years of software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or Node.js
• Experience building APIs and microservices
• Knowledge of databases (SQL / NoSQL)
• Familiarity with financial systems, payment gateways, or trading platforms
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices

Preferred

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Knowledge of blockchain / digital assets
• Experience in digital banking or payment startups
• Familiarity with AML / KYC system integration
