The Main Event: What You’ll Drive, Build, and Own

  • Architect our Data's Future: Design and own the transformation layer of our stack using dbt and Snowflake, creating the clean, scalable models that serve as the definitive source of truth for our global metrics.
  • Power the Huspy AI Engine: Build the robust data infrastructure and semantic context required for our AI tools. You'll ensure our models provide the "clean fuel" (metadata, documentation, and governed datasets) that allows AI agents to generate accurate, automated insights. 🤖
  • Guarantee End-to-End Trust: Develop automated reconciliation processes to ensure data integrity from raw ingestion through to the final BI layer. You'll ensure that what the business—and our AI—sees in Omni is 100% verified and trusted. ✅
  • Own the Event Foundation: Lead the charge on event tracking (using tools like Braze or our in-house Karvel). You'll define requirements, enforce data contracts, and build the standardization that powers our product-led growth. 🚀
  • Build a Self-Serve Ecosystem: Empower the organization by developing curated tables and maintaining our BI layer in Omni, enabling true self-service analytics for every team.
  • Automate for Scale: Implement robust CI/CD pipelines and GitHub automations (SQL linting, required testing) to validate pull requests, ensuring we maintain high standards as the team grows.
  • Optimize for Performance: Deep-dive into Snowflake usage and AWS costs, implementing best practices to ensure our data platform is as cost-effective as it is powerful.

The Perfect Match: What It Takes to Succeed at Huspy

  • Proven Experience: 4+ years in a modeling-heavy role. We care about your ability to structure data, regardless of your previous title.
  • dbt is Your Superpower: Advanced-level proficiency with dbt. You speak fluently about macros, packages, testing, and modular project structure.
  • SQL & Data Warehousing Master: Advanced SQL skills and deep experience with Snowflake (or similar cloud warehouses).
  • A Modeler's Mindset: Deep understanding of dimensional modeling (e.g., Kimball) and the ability to design models that are both comprehensive and intuitive for both humans and AI agents.
  • Pragmatic Programmer: Experience with Python for scripting, automation, and interacting with APIs to bridge the gap between raw data and insights.
  • Excellent Communicator: You can translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and understand how to turn business requirements into robust data models.

Work Setup: Hybrid in Dubai or Madrid, remote anywhere in the EU. Or we offer relocation support to Dubai or Madrid, if preferred.
