Our branch in Riga, Latvia, seeks a motivated and experienced Project Manager for a railway systems project. Responsibilities:
- Lead of Project Management Office
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to set up project in international environment
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Plan, define, and develop schedules, activities, estimate resources and activity durations
- Develop application of quality management principles and processes
- Develop and maintain an agreed project plan
- Plan and manage resources to meet project milestones
- Lead delivery and quality of services
- Manage project risks, including the development of contingency plans
- Use and continually develop leadership skills
- M.Sc. degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Management or equivalent
- A minimum of 15 years’ experience in Project Management
- Experience as Project Manager in at least 3 large scale railway projects that covered at least following:
- Railway signaling and telecommunication (ERTMS)
- Railway electrification
- 1435mm double track line with the design speed of 200km/h
- Experience in leading Project Management Office
- Ability to lead a multi-cultural team both on site and remotely
- Proficient knowledge of quality management principles and processes
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong ability to cope with multi-tasking and to be able to handle a substantial amount of responsibility is crucial.
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills in the English (proficient level)
- Good understanding and knowledge of communication to the stakeholders, as well as client management
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, as well as experience in SharePoint, and other project management programs
- Willingness to relocate to Riga, Latvia
