Our branch in Riga, Latvia, seeks a motivated and experienced Project Manager for a railway systems project. The position provides you with many opportunities to demonstrate how your unique skill-set can enhance our project. Responsibilities:

• Lead of Project Management Office
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to set up project in international environment
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Plan, define, and develop schedules, activities, estimate resources and activity durations
• Develop application of quality management principles and processes
• Develop and maintain an agreed project plan
• Plan and manage resources to meet project milestones
• Lead delivery and quality of services
• Manage project risks, including the development of contingency plans
• Use and continually develop leadership skills
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• M.Sc. degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Management or equivalent
• A minimum of 15 years’ experience in Project Management
• Experience as Project Manager in at least 3 large scale railway projects that covered at least following:
• Railway signaling and telecommunication (ERTMS)
• Railway electrification
• 1435mm double track line with the design speed of 200km/h
• Experience in leading Project Management Office
• Ability to lead a multi-cultural team both on site and remotely
• Proficient knowledge of quality management principles and processes
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong ability to cope with multi-tasking and to be able to handle a substantial amount of responsibility is crucial.
• Very strong written and verbal communication skills in the English (proficient level)
• Good understanding and knowledge of communication to the stakeholders, as well as client management
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, as well as experience in SharePoint, and other project management programs
• Willingness to relocate to Riga, Latvia
