Full Stack Developer (6-Month Contract)

Our client is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join their Tech Hub team on a 6-month contract basis. This hybrid role can be performed from anywhere within Australia. The Full Stack Developer will play a critical role in building, maintaining, and enhancing web and mobile applications that drive value for Australian businesses. You will be part of cross-functional teams responsible for delivering custom integrations and innovative software solutions using a wide range of modern technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components of web applications using various programming languages and frameworks.
• Collaborate with other developers and teams, including UX/UI designers, business analysts, project managers, and solution architects, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic and ensure seamless performance.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and best practices.
• Optimize application performance through troubleshooting and debugging.
• Coach and develop junior developers within the team.
• Contribute to solution designs and influence technical decisions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (Angular 4+, ReactJS, Vue).
• Strong experience with back-end development using technologies like .NET, NodeJS, Laravel, and cloud platforms including Azure and AWS.
• Solid knowledge of databases including SQL and NoSQL (CosmoDB, Redis) and experience with database design principles, ORMs (Prisma), and indexing.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, Websockets, feature flags, authentication mechanisms (JWT), cron jobs, and queues.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and application delivery using Microsoft DevOps.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to self-prioritize, collaborate across multiple teams, and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and adapting to industry trends.
• Experience as a first-level operational team leader or mentor is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of infrastructure requirements and cloud services.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within large enterprise environments in a technology delivery capacity.
• Familiarity with multiple front-end and back-end frameworks and tools across different teams.
• Ability to engage constructively in challenging ideas and improving processes in a collaborative culture.
