Our client is a fast-growing, well-funded AI startup building intelligent agents to eliminate inefficiencies in complex public and enterprise workflows. Already trusted by leading enterprise customers, the company is now scaling rapidly.
They are hiring their first Product Design Lead — a foundational role with full ownership of product design, UX, and design culture from day one.
This is not a support role. This is a from concept to launch product ownership position.
The Role
As Product Design Lead, you will own the entire design function — from early discovery and user research to polished UI and scalable design systems.
You'll work directly with founders and engineers in-office to craft intuitive, elegant experiences that simplify complex workflows.

The Role
As Product Design Lead, you will own the entire design function — from early discovery and user research to polished UI and scalable design systems.
You'll work directly with founders and engineers in-office to craft intuitive, elegant experiences that simplify complex workflows.
What You'll Do
- Own all aspects of product design and user experience
- Design intuitive flows and interfaces for complex AI-driven workflows
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing
- Collaborate directly with founders and engineering on product direction
- Build and scale a design system from the ground up
- Ensure visual and UX consistency across product and brand touchpoints
- Help evolve brand identity as the company scales
- 3+ years of product/UX design experience
- Proven ability to own complex digital products end-to-end
- Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional UX and UI quality (B2B preferred)
- High proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Illustrator, and prototyping tools
- Autonomous mindset — comfortable defining structure from ambiguity
- Based in Berlin or willing to relocate
- Comfortable working full-time onsite in a fast-paced environment
- Experience designing B2B SaaS or enterprise tools
- Exposure to AI-first or technical platforms
- Experience building scalable design systems
- Background in procurement, legal, or operational workflows
- Experience in high-bar environments or working closely with technical founders
- Founding design ownership
