My Dublin based client is recruiting for a Digital Project Manager who will be responsible for the successful delivery of digital initiatives, with a strong focus on website development projects within a CMS-driven environment and mobile applications for Android and iOS. This role operates within a fast-paced digital and technology setting, acting as the key liaison between clients, designers, and technical teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard. You will manage the full project lifecycle from scoping and planning through to delivery and post-launch support while also providing leadership and direction to the web design team.
Responsibilities
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and clients.
- Manage end-to-end website development projects within a digital/tech environment, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear communication and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate internal web designers, developers, and third-party partners to ensure smooth execution of digital projects.
- Oversee CMS-based website builds (including platforms such as Umbraco or similar), ensuring functionality, usability, and performance standards are met.
- Manage and prioritise a web support ticketing queue, effectively allocating tasks across the web team.
- Monitor project performance, identify risks or bottlenecks, and implement process improvements where required.
- Maintain high quality delivery standards across all website and digital outputs.
- Lead the web team by example, promoting best practice in digital project delivery, collaboration, and communication.
Experience Required
- Proven experience managing projects within a digital or technology environment, with a strong focus on website development and CMS-driven platforms.
- 3–5 years experience managing website projects within a digital or technology environment.
- Solid understanding of website development processes, user experience principles, and content management systems (e.g., Umbraco or similar).
- Strong client-facing communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with strong attention to detail.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional digital teams effectively.
- High level of initiative, accountability, and independent decision-making.
- Experience leading or managing a web or digital team.
- Strong understanding of team performance management and development.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
