About the Role:
A European NewSpace operator is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer – Space and Ground to take ownership of end-to-end systems architecture across its LEO constellation.
This is a technically hands-on position spanning both space segment (payload, RF, onboard systems) and ground segment (gateways, TT&C, network integration).
You will operate at system level, ensuring integration, performance, and scalability across the full communication chain as the constellation evolves. The role requires a strong systems thinker capable of bridging multidisciplinary engineering teams while remaining technically embedded in architecture, requirements, and validation activities.

With assets already in orbit and further expansion planned, the organisation combines advanced payload development with ground infrastructure integration to deliver a fully operational satellite network.

To be successful you’ll need to have…
- 10+ years’ experience in satellite systems or communications engineering
- Experience across both payload and ground segment infrastructure
- Background in system architecture, integration, and V&V
- LEO constellation experience preferred
