Scientific Computing Specialist – Your Responsibilities :

Reporting directly to the founder and technical leadership, you will:

• Develop mathematical models for science and engineering applications, particularly using partial differential equations and numerical methods
• Design and implement high-performance code targeting CPU, GPU, and heterogeneous architectures
• Contribute to exascale-ready computing solutions
• Work on HPC, HPDA, and AI-related challenges in demanding environments
• Participate in national and European R&D initiatives
• Ensure robustness, performance, and scalability of computational solutions
• Contribute to architectural and technical decisions
• Provide technical guidance and elevate engineering standards within the team

This is a hands-on role requiring both deep technical expertise and the ability to bring structure and maturity to a growing team.

Scientific Computing Specialist – Your Profile :

• MSc or higher in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience in High Performance Computing (HPC)
• Strong expertise in parallel programming (Julia, CUDA, OpenACC, OpenMP Offloading)
• Experience with CPU shared and distributed memory programming
• Solid understanding of HPC, HPDA, and AI ecosystems
• Experience in research-driven or startup environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple technical streams
