Backend Developer (Node.js / TypeScript)
📍 Hybrid – 2 Days Onsite in The Hague, Netherlands

The Opportunity
My client is seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join their team in a hybrid capacity, with two days per week onsite in The Hague.
This is a great opportunity for a strong Node.js / TypeScript Backend Developer to work on scalable backend systems within a modern, collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent practical experience)
- 5+ years of commercial experience with Node.js
- 5+ years of commercial experience with TypeScript
- Strong backend development background
- Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Must be authorised to work in the Netherlands (no visa sponsorship available)
- Willing to travel onsite to The Hague two days per week
- Available to start immediately or with a maximum 2-week notice period
Nice to Have
- Experience with microservices architecture
- CI/CD knowledge
- Experience with cloud platforms
