Backend Developer (Node.js / TypeScript)

📍 Hybrid – 2 Days Onsite in The Hague, Netherlands

The Opportunity

My client is seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join their team in a hybrid capacity, with two days per week onsite in The Hague.

This is a great opportunity for a strong Node.js / TypeScript Backend Developer to work on scalable backend systems within a modern, collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent practical experience)
• 5+ years of commercial experience with Node.js
• 5+ years of commercial experience with TypeScript
• Strong backend development background
• Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Must be authorised to work in the Netherlands (no visa sponsorship available)
• Willing to travel onsite to The Hague two days per week
• Available to start immediately or with a maximum 2-week notice period

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices architecture
• CI/CD knowledge
• Experience with cloud platforms
